Tipi Options

Liner - The tipi (teepee) liner is an interior cloth wall that insulates and controls airflow in the tipi (teepee). A tipi (teepee) cover alone provides sufficient mild weather shelter but in cool or hot weather a liner is essential. A properly pitched tipi (teepee) cover is staked a few inches off the ground. The liner hangs from the inside of the poles and extends onto the ground, sealing the bottom of the lodge. Cool outside air is drawn under the cover and channels up through the smoke flaps, taking the smoke out with it. The liner also helps prevent condensation and is sometimes called a “dew cloth”. The tipi (teepee) liner may be painted before it is hung. Liner Details

  • Standard Ozan - The ozan is an interior drop ceiling or inside rain cover that forms a canopy over the back third of the tipi (teepee) behind the fire. It holds in heat and shelters the living area below. An extended ozan which reaches all the way to the front of the tipi (teepee) is also available. Ozan Details
  • Floor Cover - The floor cover is an oversized round tarp made from khaki colored canvas. Makes it easy to sweep your tipi (teepee) out and is more mildew resistant than other materials you might use for a floor. Floor Cover Details
  • Steel Stakes - Steel stakes are a valuable upgrade if you will be pitching your tipi (teepee) on rocky ground.
  • Deck Kit - Pitch your tipi (teepee) on top of a deck with the hardware included in our deck kit. L brackets to attach the tipi (teepee) poles to the deck and eyebolts to attach the tipi (teepee) cover to the deck.
