Texas Hill Country: known for the rugged natural beauty, fine wine, interesting small towns and now yurts!
Lucky Arrow Retreat has a fun and funky vibe, retro touches, an event center, beer garden, 25 cabins, a pool, a vintage Landcruiser for touring and 10- 16’ Colorado Yurts. Theirs is the largest collection of yurts in Texas. Lucky Arrow is a great glamping destination, and also offers a great space for weddings, church retreats, family reunions, and corporate retreats.
Each yurt is outfitted with a queen-sized bed, air conditioning, twinkle lights, clothes rack, full-length mirror, iced up Yeti cooler, and a record player with a selection of vinyl records. There is a small sitting porch, community bathhouse and snacks and drinks. At 200 square feet, the yurts are perfect for a romantic stay.
Lucky Arrow customized their yurts by painting all of the interior woodwork (lattice, rafters, studs) white and custom staining the doors. Each yurt has a unique interior theme, luxury linens and are located in a valley- tucked away in a live oak grove.
When the owners of Lucky Arrow were shopping for yurts- they did their homework. They chose yurts because, “We wanted a structure that was not only unique in design but also durable and watertight.”
They picked Colorado Yurt Company because of our quality reputation, selection of colors and ease of assembly.
Customer response has been overwhelmingly positive.
“We got to stay in one of the yurts at Lucky Arrow Retreat and it was such an awesome experience. Check-in/out was so simple and although we knew people were around if we needed anything, it felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. The pool and facilities are exceptional and this would be the perfect place for couples or family getaway!”
“We stayed in a yurt during a recent wedding. The yurt was very comfortable and obviously very well cared for. We really enjoyed the entire location with a nice pool and great common areas. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. You are close to DSTX and there is a nice winery 2-minute walk away. You need to understand that this is a rustic setting there will not be paved roads or parking lots however, the property is easy to navigate and the longest walk from one area to another is less than three minutes. We would stay again.”
