How long do yurts last?

The wooden framework of your yurt is built to last indefinitely with proper care. The vinyl cover typically lasts between eight and fifteen years, depending on your local climate, severity of UV exposure, and routine maintenance. Roof fabric generally lasts up to twice as long as sidewall fabric due to differences in material thickness. We recommend applying annual UV treatments to extend the overall lifespan of your yurt’s fabric components.
